The American Declaration

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal. Governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed and the governed have certain unalianable rights; one of which is to alter government.

Prudence has dictated a slow and methodical change, a transition of sorts, to a government that evinces the principles of our founding fathers.

Let us not, in these times, forget the pursuit of happiness. Government shall serve to secure our safety and protect our liberty, we are left to capture and provide for our own happiness, a satisfaction that no government can or ever will be able to provide for us.

Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness in the era of change.

What's wrong with this picture? Nothing.

There's nothing wrong with this picture. Certainly it's been said many times, "never judge a book by it's cover". It's important that we reserve judgement until review. Our simpler minds would look at this cover of THE NEW YORKER and possibly be offended, but I'm certain that whomever decided to run this has a point that they're trying to make. It's always important in life that we review the details and make our own decisions. We have a tendency to let the analysis of so called experts stand in for our individual abilities to process and decide. How many people will actually read the article?

This cover has been bashed as tasteless and I'd really like for anyone who thinks so to tell me why.

The Latin Americans are on the come. Africa Left Behind.

Carlos Slim and Soylandia. What do they have in common? They're, in conjunction, part of the reason that Latin America is on the charge. Carlos Slim has surpassed Mr. Gates as the richest man in the world and Soylandia is proof that Latin Americans can and will compete with the US in agricultural endeavors.

From Mexico to Brazil the landscape, literally and figuratively, are changing south of the border. I'm excited about the developmental trend that this indicates on a global scale. Latin America and Asia are learning to compete in the global market. Europeans and North Americans are pressing forward. Australia is isolated and not underdeveloped for it's size. Now if we could only kick start Africa, the Global Economy will spin into full force and be all inclusive.

What is it going to take to get Africa to develop as a continent? Where does it begin? What is the extent of development on the worlds oldest inhabited continent? Nigeria has a booming oil industry, but oil will soon be a thing of the past. Where do they go next with the capital they attain from the Oil trade?

Government is the primary problem in Africa. There is too much corruption and a lack of direction in my humble opinion. Secondary to politics is education; Latin Americans have access to the font of knowledge in American academic institutions and have used what they've learned to their advantage. I look forward to the day when Africans take what they learn back to the mother land and get involved in the great race.

Sit back and relax your mind, Daily.

Take the time to sit and reflect, really meditate on the most important question we must ask only ourselves.

What is the purpose of my existence?

This is a question that one can only answer through an internal analysis of personal experiences.

Bush visits Isreal and PLAYS to his audience

Some conspiracy theorists will have you believe that the Bush family profited handily from dealing with the enemy during both world wars. Now GWB heads over to Isreal and states that the U.S should have "bombed Aushwitz" during the holocaust. I find it a bit disingenuous that GWB would express this sentiment in light of the war in Iraq and his obvious knowledge of his family history. In the memorial's visitors' book, GWB wrote "God bless Isreal, George Bush." Whose God George, whose God? GWB moves on to Galilee next.

"Inbreeding Depression" and Biracialism

Here's the one thing you're guaranteed if you procreate with someone outside of your race. Your children will not be inbred. (Which typically cost you a few IQ points.) Geneticists generally take two approaches when discussing the advantages and disadvantages of interracial marriages bearing children. On the one hand the assumption is that you get the best of both worlds, both in regards to attractiveness (due to variety) and health. The general concensus is that a biracial child is more likely to avoid genetic diseases arising from homozygous harmful recessive genes found mainly in particular groups, such as cystic fibrosis in Europeans and sickle-cell anaeia in West Africans. On the other hand the genes at different loci in each major race have evolved to be adapted to each other, forming co-adapted gene-complexes. Interracial mating would break up these gene-complexes.

Here's an interesting article that I am currently unable to do justice, but I will share more of my opinion as I become more versed on the subject.
